SOUTH EAST QUEENSLAND SCHOOLBOY CUP POSITIONS FINALISED.

A win over Coombabah sees Keebra Park take position number two in the seedings after the final round robin matches.

The standings will be :

1. PBC
2. KEEBRA PARK
3. WAVELL SHS
4. COOMBABAH
5. CAVENDISH ROAD.

Keebra finished their final hit out before the knockouts with a win over fellow Gold Coast school, Coombabah.

The scrappy encounter never really got going and a stiff looking Keebra never really got into full stride. They did however do enough to take the points although a gallant but undergunned Coombabah held their ground and forced enough errors to irritate and annoy their classier opposition.

The competition now moves into the knockout stages and with the results so far it looks like being a very tight affair.

Good luck to all teams taking part. (LEARN MORE ABOUT KEEBRA PARK RUGBY LEAGUE)

KEEBRA TO PLAY KEEBRA IN TITANS CUP FINAL

It will be a case of mate against mate in next Mondays Titans Cup Final after two Keebra Park sides made it through to thee finals.

Mr Harts Keebra Yellow will face off against Mr Woolfs Keebra Blue after downing PBC and Woodridge respectively.

Dion Taumata was a standout in the win over PBC with a couple of 40-20's and some speculative ball playing that came up trumps on the night. Captain Alex Tobler lead a strong forward pack with Matt Wycliff, Jahmin Gernhoffer and Bodie Apps putting in huge efforts in defence.

A big thanks to all the boys and as you would have expected the smart money is on Mr Hart and experience to be tooooooooo strong for the gallant Keebra Blues.

At last call the Blues were 68-1 outsiders and you would be lucky to find a bookie to take a bet against the Yellows. Mr Hart is also looking good for the coach of the year accolade and rumour has it that the coaches shield is already at the engravers.

See you all at the final..... LEARN MORE ABOUT KEEBRA PARK RUGBY LEAGUE

QUEENSLAND REP POSITIONS

Premiership-winning Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles mentor Brandon Costin was today announced as the coach of the XXXX Queensland Residents team.

The appointment is a fitting reward for Costin, who guided the Sea Eagles to the 2009 Queensland Cup premiership in just the club’s first season in the top grade.

Queensland Residents play their NSW counterparts at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium in a curtain-raiser to the third State of Origin clash on July 7.

Queensland will be out to continue its recent dominance after crushing NSW 34-6 at Suncorp Stadium this year.
